Shortcut To Open and Close CD/DVD Drives

How do you open or close your CD/DVD drives? You go and press that eject button. But if we are going high tech day by day and computer is all about doing things easily, then there should be a shortcut to open and close CD/DVD drives. And certainly options are there. Now CD/DVD drives can be opened or closed from a mouse click. Lets make our life a bit more easier with this trick. This trick will allow you to control the CD/DVD drive tray.
Go to My Computer and right click on your DVD drive icon. By default you will notice a Eject option there. If you click on that, your CD/DVD drive tray will come out. Look at the screenshot below.

But there is no close tray option available. We normally do that manually. But let’s make that possible. In order to do that, follow the below steps properly.

1. Download closetray.zip and get it extracted.

2. Double click on it and add the values to your system registry.

3. Restart your system and you are done.
